Jai Raj Ispat Ltd has announced its plans to establish a steel plant in Dharur mandal of Mahabubnagar district in Telangana with an outlay of Rs 3,000 crore.

The proposed plant will come up at the Group’s 250-acre site in the southern Telangana district of Mahabubnagar.

Siddharth Jain, Executive Director of Jai Raj Ispat Ltd, informed KT Rama Rao, Telangana Industries Minister that the company management surveyed opportunities in various states but decided to chose Telangana due its proactive and prompt support.

According to a statement, the proposed steel plant will come up in two phases with an investment of approximately Rs 3,000 crore. With a production capacity of 10 lakh tonnes annually, the plant will provide direct employment to 1,200 while 3,500 people would be indirectly benefited.

KT Rama Rao assured the Group of all cooperation from the Telangana Government and directed Arvind Kumar, Secretary, Industries and Sreedevi, District Collector, Mahabubnagar to take steps and facilitate the project development.
