FRBL, a joint venture of FACT and RCF Mumbai which manufactures load-bearing wall panels using gypsum, has stated receiving export orders from Sri Lanka, Nepal, Kuwait.
The first shipment to Sri Lanka was flagged off on Thursday by C P Dinesh Managing Director, FRBL. The first container with 6,200 sq ft wall panels was dispatched for the building construction group, Access International Project Pvt. Ltd. Another consignment of 13,200 sq ft will be dispatched to Nepal within a couple of days.
The FRBL unit, which uses state of the art Australian technology for manufacturing 12M x 3M size wall panels with 124 mm thickness, is situated at the Ambalamedu campus of FACT. The plant also has a most modern cutting unit to cut the panel as per the requirements of consumers.
FRBL panels, which recently bagged a slew of awards, are getting excellent appreciation from various quarters. There has been 400 per cent increase in sales during the last financial year.
