Singareni Collieries Company Limited will host a coal buyers meeting here on May 24.
The meeting is aimed at familiarising the buyers with the new system of coal linkage made through auction to coal consumers from cement, steel and allied industries.
The Union Coal Ministry has recently brought about changes in the policy as per the directions of the Supreme Court. The meeting is part of the new policy of coal allocation and linkage to be extended to users other than energy sector.
