KIMS Hospitals and Portea Medical have entered into a partnership to expand the Portea’s home healthcare services for the patients of KIMS Hospitals in Secunderabad and Kondapur.
Under the agreement, patients discharged from these two KIMS facilities will receive customised medical care at their homes in close collaboration with specialists from KIMS Hospitals.
"Our partnership with Portea is aimed to ensure this, with high quality medical care and support being made available to patients within the comfort of their own homes,’’ B Abhinay, Vice-President, Strategy, KIMS Hospitals, said in a release.
Meena Ganesh, MD & CEO, Portea Medical, said: “We believe our hospital-like care at home will encourage faster recovery for patients and enable specialists at KIMS to focus their efforts at the hospital for the treatment of patients requiring critical care.”
