Prime Minister Narendra Modi is to inaugurate a new terminal building for international flights at Vadodara airport on Saturday. The new terminal has been built as part of the Centre’s efforts to modernise existing airports and bring them up to international standards.

A Global Investors’ Meet organised by the Madhya Pradesh government will open in Indore on Saturday. Over 3,000 business delegates, including 150 CEOs from India and abroad, are expected to participate in the two-day meet. The participants will represent sectors such as agri-business, food processing, automobile, engineering, defence, IT, renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, textiles and tourism.

The project, spread across seven acres, has a 45-metre-high iconic sword, fighter aircrafts and battle tanks. Amritsar is undergoing major changes as part of development works ahead of the 2017 assembly polls.
