National Housing Bank organised a one-day regional workshop on Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana — a credit-linked subsidy scheme.
The objective of the workshop was to create awareness of the scheme among the various stakeholders, such as scheduled commercial banks, regional rural banks, housing finance companies and urban local bodies.
The workshop was inaugurated by Sriram Kalyanaraman, MD and CEO, National Housing Bank. On the occasion, subsidy letters were given to 24 beneficiary borrowers.
