Karnataka Vikas Grameen Bank (KVGB), a regional rural bank with its headquarters in Dharwad, will launch its second ATM-on-wheels soon, according to S Ravindran, Chairman of the bank.
Speaking at a ‘gram sabha’ at Nimbalgundhi village of Bagalkot district on Sunday, he said the aim is to provide better payment services in the remote villages, he said. Ravindran said that 84 ATMs of the bank have been recalibrated to dispense new ₹2,000 and ₹500 currency notes.
