Tyre maker Goodyear India is set to release its results on Thursday. The stock is in a short-term downtrend. It is poised near an important long-term trendline support at ₹377. An break below this level might not be easy as the 31.8 per cent Fibonacci retracement support coincides with this level. An upmove from ₹377 will take it higher to ₹450 and ₹500 in the coming weeks. But if the results disappoint and the stock breaks below ₹377, then the ensuing targets will be ₹350 and ₹323.

NTPC looks to results to power its stock

This is the last set of results to be reported by it before the more stringent Central Electricity Regulatory Commission norms kick in from April. On Wednesday, the stock closed nearly 2.7 per cent higher at ₹125.55 on the BSE.

Is TTK Prestige in recovery mode?

TTK Prestige may witness action on Thursday as it releases results for the year ended March 31. In the first nine months of 2013-14, revenues had dropped by 5 per cent. Weak consumer sentiments on persistently high inflation, political turmoil in Andhra Pradesh — a key contributor to revenues — and power outages in TN hit sales. So, the market will look for any green shoots in the March quarter numbers. The stock has been flat over the last few days despite a strong rally in the broader market.
