MindTree on Tuesday said that its shareholders approved the proposed issue of 1:1 bonus shares, appointment of Rostow Ravanan as CEO & Managing Director and appointment of Krishnakumar Natarajan as Executive Chairman. The company had sought shareholders’ approval through postal ballot. All the resolutions were approved by shareholders with requisite majority. The record date to determine the shareholders who are eligible to receive the bonus shares has been fixed at March 10. Shares of MindTree rose 2.67 per cent to ₹1,459.75 at 11:49 IST on the BSE after the company said its shareholders approved the proposed bonus issue of shares. The stock climbed 3.4 per cent to ₹1,470.5 on the BSE.
