The board of directors of Essel Propack on Wednesday approved the merger of EP Lamitubes Ltd with itself. However, no shares are proposed to be issued due to the amalgamation, as EP Lamitubes is a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. The scheme of amalgamation, however, will be subject to requisite approvals from the shareholders/ creditors of the companies and the Bombay High Court.
