Suven Life Sciences has informed the exchanges that it has received one product patent each in Eurasia and Norway. These patents in Eurasia and Norway will be valid through 2032 and 2025, respectively, for treatment of disorders associated with neurodegenerative diseases. In addition to these new grants, Suven has a total of 20 granted patents from Eurasia and six from Norway.
MEP Infrastructure Developers said it has been appointed as a contractor for collection of user fee by the National Highways Authority of India for a section of National Highway 24 in Uttar Pradesh. The contractual amount of ₹60 crore is payable to NHAI on a weekly basis over a period of one year, the company said in an exchange filing. Operations will commence within two days of complying with statutory formalities, namely, submission of performance security, and signing of contract, the filing said. Shares of MEP Infrastructure gained 3 per cent at ₹37.6 on the NSE.
State-owned iron-ore major NMDC has increased prices of its products by ₹125 a tonne for supplies in January. NMDC’s internal panel on pricing that met on Monday fixed the prices of lump-ore at ₹2,225/tonne, higher than the ₹2,100 in December, and those of fines were revised upwards to ₹1,985/tonne (₹1,860). Shares of the company climbed 1.6 per cent at ₹130.25 on the NSE.
