Shirpur Gold Refinery has recently been certified with ISO 14001: 2015 & OHSAS 18001: 2007 standards by TUV Rheinland, GmbH. These are globally recognised standards for maintaining best practices relating to environment and ocupational health & safety management systems. Previously, the company held ISO 9001:2015, a global quality standard. Shares of Shirpur Gold Refinery gained 1.48 per cent at ₹167.75 on the NSE.

Bosch will double its installed capacity in the solar energy space in India by December. The company said it is looking to tap the opportunity available in the solar energy segment, with the government pushing to have 100 GW from solar power by 2020. Bosch did not provide details of its current installed capacity. The company had installed a 12-MW solar project for Cochin International Airport in August last year, as well as a 1-MW solar plant in Manesar for Maruti Suzuki India. Shares of Bosch closed down 0.8 per cent at ₹24,267.65 on the NSE.

Gammon Infrastructure Projects has informed the exchanges that Patna Highway Projects, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, has been issued provisional completion certificate with effect from September 1. The subsidiary was incorporated for implementation of the project entailing laying a 63.17-km long four-lane dual carriageway on National Highway-77, including a new bypass of 16.87 km connecting NH-28, in Bihar on BOT (Annuity) basis. PHPL is entitled to receive semi-annual annuities of ₹94.60 crore each during the concession period of the project. Shares of Gammon Infrastructure slumped 4.9 per cent at ₹4.85 on the NSE.
