Gail India has commenced work on the Jagdishpur-Haldia pipeline project. In the first phase, the company has started work on the pipeline that connects Hindustan Fertiliser Corp’s unit at Barauni in Bihar to Indian Oil Corp’s unit. The gas network will supply fuel to major industries. The first phase of the project involves laying a 341-km trunk pipeline from Phulpur in Allahabad to Dobhi in Gaya and drive pipeline connectivity to Barauni and Patna from Dobhi. “An investment of over ₹2,300 crore is expected to be made in Bihar on this project,” GAIL said in a statement to the exchanges. Shares of Gail India inched up 0.33 per cent at ₹291 on the BSE.

The board of Synergy Bizcon on Wednesday decided to apply for listing of its equity shares on the trading platform of the National Stock Exchange of India. The board also decided to expand its business activities by launching an e-commerce platform to reach customers worldwide. This e-commerce platform is expected to be ready within six months. Shares of Synergy Bizcon jumped 4.38 per cent at ₹154.90 on the BSE.

Nila Infrastructures has received an order for ₹41.30 crore from Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. The order is for construction of 816 EWS residential flats and 24 shops, including internal infrastructure and development work. This is the third order for Nila Infra from Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. The company expects steady cash flow considering the funding dynamics of the project. Shares of Nila Infrastructures closed flat at ₹8.20 on the NSE.
