Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Ltd, has been awarded a ₹66-crore order for the supply of 66KV class transformers aggregating to 1,290 MVA from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Ltd. With this, the company’s order book as on date stands at around ₹550 crore. However, the stock of Monday slipped 0.9 per cent at ₹92.15 on the BSE.
Southern Petrochemicals Industries Corporation Limited has informed the stock exchanges of a sale of 2,58,11,207 equity shares of ₹10 each (55.97 per cent) of SPEL Semiconductor Limited, held by the company, to Natronix Semiconductor Technology Private Limited at ₹7.62 a share. The company said the sale was completed on March 24, 2014.
Sterling Biotech Ltd has issued fresh zero coupon foreign currency convertible bonds due 2019 amounting to $206.46 million in a cashless exchange for existing similar FCCBs that were due 2012, of which $134.5 million in principal remained outstanding. With this, the company’s obligations to the holders of existing bonds stand discharged in full (principal, interest, default interest and premium) and no other amounts are due to FCCB holders.
Carborundum Universal Ltd has informed the BSE that the company has allotted 10,000 shares of ₹ 1 each arising out of the exercise of stock options, granted to employees of the company under the Employees Stock Option Scheme 2007 on March 19, 2014. With this allotment the number of equity shares outstanding now stands at 18.77 crore and the paid-up equity share capital at ₹18.77 crore.
