Shares of BPCL and Tata Consultancy Services will turn ex-dividend on Monday. While the OMC major is rewarding its shareholders with dividend of ₹15 (face value ₹10), TCS is offering ₹27 (face value ₹1).
So, Friday would be the cut-off date for prospective investors to avail themselves of the benefit of the payouts.
The move could benefit about 6.5 lakh retail shareholders in TCS, who own 3.37 per cent stake in the company, and 89,800 small investors controlling 2.24 per cent stake in BPCL.
