Mutual fund company Edelweiss Asset Management Ltd has appointed Dhawal Dalal as the CIO – Fixed Income.
Dalal will oversee Fixed Income portfolio for the mutual fund and will be reporting to Vikaas M. Sachdeva, CEO, Edelweiss AMC. Before joining Edelweiss AMC, Dalal was an Executive Vice President and Head – Fixed Income at DSP BlackRock Investment Managers since 1998, where he played a pivotal role in growing the fixed income assets in 15 unique Fixed Income and Hybrid schemes.
Dalal is a senior fixed income professional with more than 20 years of proven track record of building fixed income business, managing over $3.3 billion worth of fixed income assets in India and the US and generating positive and superior risk adjusted returns for retail, institutional & foreign investors. He comes with a solid fund management experience across the maturity and credit spectrum, focused approach on positive and superior risk-adjusted returns over time, macro-based investment style, credit research and risk management.
