Sugar market ruled flat on routine demand-supply amid need-based volumes. Prices on the Vashi spot market was up ₹6 for S-grade, while it ruled unchanged for M-grade. Naka and mill tender rates were also steady with routine volumes. Freight rates were also steady. The Bombay Sugar Merchants Association’s spot rates: S-grade ₹3,126-3,255 (3,120-3,255) and M-grade ₹3,202-3,352 (3,202-3,352). Naka delivery rates: S-grade ₹3,100-3,120 (3,100-3,120) and M-grade ₹3,150-3,250 (3,150-3,250).
