Sluggish demand and sporadic rains have dragged demand in pulses, leading to steep fall in prices of pulses and pulse seeds in Indore mandis. Tur (Maharashtra) declining to ₹8,100, while tur (Madhya Pradesh) ruled at ₹7,400 (down ₹400 from last week). Tur dal (sawa no.) being quoted at ₹11,000-200, tur dal (full) ruled at ₹11,500-700, while tur marka quoted at ₹12,000-12,400. Moong and its dal with moong (bold) declining to ₹5,100-5,300 (down ₹400 from last week). Similarly, moong (medium) declined to ₹4,800 (down ₹200 from last week). Given expected arrival of new moong in the coming days, future of moong appears bearish. Decline in moong dragged its dal with moong dal (medium) being quoted at ₹5,400-5,600 (down ₹600 from last week), moong dal (bold) ruled at ₹6,000-6,400, while moong mongar quoted at ₹6,200-6,400. Urad and its dal with urad (bold) being quoted at ₹9,500 (down ₹500), while urad (medium) declined to ₹8,500 (down ₹700 from last week). Urad dal traded lower on decline in spot urad with urad dal (medium) being quoted at ₹11,800-12,00, urad dal (bold) at ₹12,000-12,200, while urad mongar quoted at ₹12,700-13,000 a quintal.
