Edible oils market showed a mixed trend. In Mumbai, sunflower and cotton oil ruled steady. Soyabean and rapeseed oil increased by ₹2 and ₹5 per 10 kg each. Groundnut oil and palmolein dropped by ₹50 and ₹7 each. Vikram Global Commodities quoted ₹520 for Malaysian super palmolein. Liberty was quoting palmolein at ₹503 JNPT, super palmolein ₹532 and soyabean refined oil ₹610. Ruchi traded palmolein for ₹503, soyabean refined oil ₹607 and sunflower refined oil ₹765. Allana’s rates: palmolein ₹503, super palmolein ₹540, soya refined oil ₹605 and sunflower oil ₹765.
In Saurashtra-Rajkot, groundnut oil telia was at ₹1,490 (1,450) and loose (10 kg) at ₹950 (925).
BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 980 (1,030), soya ref. 602 (600), sunflower exp. ref. 685 (680), sunflower ref. 760 (760), rapeseed ref. oil 920 (915), rapeseed exp. ref. 890 (885), cottonseed ref. oil 650 (650) and palmolein 490 (497).
