Slack demand and bearish futures kept edible oils under pressure. With limited activities prices on the BCE ruled steady barring palmolein and sunflower oil which rose by ₹1 and ₹3 per 10 kg each.
Local refineries kept their rates unchanged. Liberty’s rates: palmolein ₹635, super palmolein ₹656 and soyabean refined oil ₹730. Ruchi traded sunflower oil at ₹710. Allana’s rates:palmolein ₹637, soya refined oil ₹725, sunflower refined oil ₹718. At Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin increased to ₹1,490 (1,465) and loose (10 kg) up at ₹950 (940).
