Cardamom continued to gain flavour on good demand, amid good arrivals at auctions held in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The market has moved up in recent weeks, sources in Bodinayakannur told BusinessLine . Last week, arrivals stood at 705 tonnes as against 865 tonnes in the previous week. Individual auction average moved up substantially last week and was vacillating between ₹640 and ₹746 a kg, they said. Total arrivals during the season up to April 30 were at around 28,055 tonnes and sales were at 27,068 tonnes.
