Vodafone, the country’s second-largest mobile operator by subscribers, launched ‘Bada Data Chota Price’, a series of low-priced monthly data packs. The data packs, prices of which vary from circle to circle, start at ₹24 for a 30-day validity. “We are democratising data by making it more affordable and accessible. This is key to driving usage and encouraging first time users to come online. This will facilitate a faster adoption of data and its better usage, vital for India’s progression into the digital economy,” said Sandeep Kataria, Chief Commercial Officer, Vodafone India.
