Students aged 12 years and above flying SpiceJet will get a flat 10 per cent discount on base fare and additional 10 kg baggage allowance, the company announced in a statement on Wednesday.
The discount scheme is valid till September 30, 2016, and is applicable to students belonging to bona fide schools/universities, it added.
The offer — for limited seats and on a first-come-first-served basis — can be availed of on all domestic flights, on both one-way and round-trip bookings. are changeable, cancellable and refundable, though non-transferable, as name changes are not permitted, the airline added.
“Web check-in is not allowed for student discount bookings…These fares are not applicable on group bookings and cannot be availed of by family members of the student.”
