APM Terminals Inland Services Pvt Ltd, South Asia, has won an exclusive Third Party Logistics (3PL) provider contract with Mahindra Susten for an upcoming 260-MW solar power project in Andhra Pradesh.
Under this arrangement, end-to-end solutions will be provided in India for logistics services and delivery of 2,900 TEU containers of solar panels imported from China to interior Andhra Pradesh, said Ajit Venkataraman, Managing Director.
APM Terminals’ contract with Mahindra Susten, a leading renewable energy brand, to provide 3PL services will provide an integrated logistics management solution to Mahindra Susten for the containers of solar panels being imported from China to India through Chennai Port.
The solar panels will be transported to Gani village in the interiors of Andhra Pradesh to set up a solar power plant.
