Sugar prices declined by ₹5-10 at Vashi on Tuesday, as producers sold the commodity ₹10-20 lower amid a sharp drop in futures prices. Naka rates were steady. Arrivals at Vashi were 61-62 truckloads and local dispatches were 62-63 truckloads. On Monday evening, 14-15 mills offered tenders and sold 28,000-30,000 bags at ₹3,530-3,590 for S-grade and ₹3,600–3,690 for M-grade. On NCDEX futures prices for October-16 futures declined by ₹37 to ₹3,525 (₹3,562) and Dec-16 decline by ₹49 to ₹3,535 till noon.
