Spot rubber closed almost unchanged on Friday. RSS 4 was quoted steady at ₹137 by traders. The grade firmed up to ₹136.50 (₹136) and ₹133.50 (₹133) a kg respectively, according to the Rubber Board and dealers.
July futures declined to ₹137.31 (₹139.35), August to ₹134 (₹136.24) and September to ₹131 (₹133.93) for RSS 4 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) slid to ₹113 (₹113.16) at Bangkok.
June futures weakened to ¥161 (₹106.83) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 137 (137); RSS-5: 134 (134); Ungraded: 115 (115); ISNR 20: 117 (116) and Latex (60% drc): 100 (100).
