The Institute of Public Enterprises, Hyderabad, Centre for Corporate Governance and Accounting Research Institute, Universiti Teknologi Mara, Malaysia are jointly organising the Seventh International Conference on Corporate Governance: Challenge and Trends, during January 6-7.
SK Acharya, Chairman and Managing Director of NLC, Prof JP Sharma, Head, Department of Commerce, Delhi University, will inaugurate the conference.
The focus of the conference is on addressing the trends and challenges in corporate governance such as risk management, internal control and audit mechanism, competitive environment, impact of corporate governance and sustainability and sustainable reporting, CSR among others.
The conference is being attended by academician from India and abroad, corporate executives, researchers and experts in the filed of corporate governance, according to RK Mishra, Director of IPE.
The IPE is also hosting a Five-day capacity Building Programme for officials from Government to Citizen Office, Cabinet Secretariat, Royal Government of Bhutan on “Managing Improved Public Service Delivery.”
Meanwhile, IPE has announced it has achieved 100 per cent placements for PGDM students.
