Gujarat's apex ICT trade body, Gujarat Electronics & Software Industries Association (GESIA) on Monday appointed Vivek Ogra, Managing Director of VBSOFT (India) Ltd as the Chairman & Director of the association while Maulik Bhansali from NetWeb Software Pvt. Ltd is made new Vice Chairman & Director along with other office bearers for the period 2016-18.
Tejinder Oberoi of Cygnet Infotech Pvt. Ltd. is the new Secretary and Director, and Bharat Patel of Yudiz Solutions Pvt. Ltd is the Joint Secretary & Director. Nilay Patel from Easy Pay Pvt. Ltd has been appointed the Treasurer and Director, it said.
The new team is guided by the objective to bring forth Gujarat’s role as a flagbearer in IT & ITeS. “The association has decided to give impetus and thrust to member companies for business expansion and project them in the right league to compete nationally and highlight the capacity of state-based companies to cater to sector needs,” said Ogra.
