Agro-chemicals major Dhanuka Agritech Limited’s net profit in the last quarter of 2015-16 increased 30 per cent to ₹ 28.48 crore from ₹ 21.90 crores for the corresponding period last year.
The company reported growth of 14.75 per cent in net turnover to ₹ 172.37 crore for the quarter ended 31st March (Q4), 2016, compared to ₹ 150.22 crore for the same period last quarter, according to an official release circulated on Tuesday.
Profit before tax increased by 38.69 per cent to ₹ 34.86 crore in Q4 of 2015-16.
“Despite deficient rainfall, price erosion & de-growth of industry, we have seen moderate sales growth across geographies during this fiscal (2015-16). Our newly launched products have performed well. We are well positioned to pursue our strong growth potential,” according to M K Dhanuka, Managing Director, Dhanuka Agritech Limited.
For financial year 2015-16, the company registered a growth of 5.57 per cent in net turnover to ₹ 828.79 crore from ₹ 785.08 crore last year. Net profit increased marginally to ₹107.31 crore in 2015-16 compared to ₹ 106.08 crore in the previous fiscal.
