NTPC Ltd said on Wednesday that Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group controlled electricity distribution utilities of Delhi NCR, BSES Rajdhani and BSES Yamuna, have agreed to pay all their dues to the company by September.
“From September/October 2016 onwards, they will maintain outstanding limited to 60 days,” NTPC said in a statement adding that the outstanding dues from the two distribution utilities stand at Rs 1,534 crore as on June 14.
However, NTPC added that despite directions from the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission, BSES Rajdhani and BSES Yamuna have not cleared Rs 993-crore dues owed to NTPC’s subsidiary Aravali Power Company Pvt Ltd.
