Ankit Bawne, who stitched yet another breathtaking partnership with the tail, helped Jolly Rovers finish day two on 442 against India Pistons in their TNCA Elite division match here on Friday.

Bawne, who remained unbeaten on 257 (342b, 42x4, 1x6), added 119 runs for the last wicket with D.T. Chandrasekar, who contributed just one run.

At IC-Guru Nanak, B. Indrajith slammed 218 (298b, 19x4, 7x6) as Vijay declared after piling 480 for nine against Young Stars.

Indrajith combined well with Aparajith (202 runs for the fourth wicket) and M. Mohammed (119 runs for the seventh wicket). For Young Stars, left-arm spinner M. Siddarth claimed five wickets.

At MRF-Pachaiyappa’s-A, Alwarpet finished on 340 against Globe Trotters. After making 340, left-arm spinner R. Sai Kishore’s five-wicket haul helped Alwarpet bowl out Trotters for just 178 runs and enforced the follow-on.
