The last book I read was The New Threat from Islamic Militancy by Jason Burke, the former South Asia correspondent of The Guardian . Burke has been tracking terror groups for some time and is an expert on the al-Qaeda. He presents a sobering analysis of the phenomenon of the Islamic State and how it is affecting the world.

Vikas Swarup, spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, is the author of Q&A , which was adapted for the film Slumdog Millionaire
