Visually challenged girl gets 8.2 GPA

Renuka, a visually challenged girl from Raipally village in Raikod of Medak district, has secured 8.2 grade point average (GPA) score in class 10 examinations. She is a semi-orphan staying with her grandmother.

During the end of last year, the girl approached Childline seeking help in getting a certificate so that she can be allowed to write the examination with the assistance of a transcriber.

All the senior officials, including Collector D. Ronald Rose, district Judge Ramana Naidu, and DLSA secretary Justice Kanakadurga responded positively to her request..
