The Warangal crime branch police arrested two persons accused of stealing 31 bikes in the tricities.

They are Syed Sujat Hussain and Sheik Waheed. They were arrested when they came across the police check point on Hunter Road near Hotel Raj. According to the Police Commissioner G Sudheer Babu, the trio used to steal bikes and used them for roaming around.

They hid the bikes in the bushes behind the Puli Gutta hillock near JSM High School. In this process they stole 8 bikes in 2015 and 23 bikes this year.

Acting on a tip off that the accused were going to sell the bikes on Monday, the CCS police intensified the checking on hunter road. They found the two thieves travelling on one of the stolen bikes and arrested them. On interrogation, they confessed to their crimes.
