The CPI State secretary, Chada Venkat Reddy, on Friday unveiled the statues of veteran Communist leaders – former MLA Rajab Ali and former sarpanch K. Narsaiah at Papatapally village in Khammam urban mandal.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Mr. Reddy called upon the party cadres to strive to uphold the cause of underprivileged sections by drawing inspiration from the illustrious lives of veteran Communist leaders.

Mr. Reddy alleged that the TRS government was exhibiting feudal tendencies and acting in a dictatorial manner detrimental to the interests of working class, farmers and farm labourers.

The party cadres should organise mass movements on people’s issues to safeguard the interests of the poor and downtrodden sections, he said.
