Singareni plants 21,000 saplings

The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) authorities planted over 21,000 saplings as part of the Harita Haram programme at its mines region in Ramagundam-3 coal belt in Karimnagar district on Friday.

Singareni director (operations) B. Ramesh participated as the chief guest and launched the massive plantation drive at Mulkalpalli village. The authorities, along with students and women planted saplings at dumps of OCPs 1 and 2, Adriyala project, and other underground mines and open grounds.

General managers Chandra Shekhar, M.S. Venkata Ramayya, E. Ramachandram, and Umamaheshwar Rao, TGBKS general secretary M. Raji Reddy, SEWA president Shailaja Venkata Ramayya, and AGM Y.G.K. Murthy were also present.
