The Telangana Recognised Schools Management Association (TRSMA) has clarified that the private school managements were not harassing any student for the payment of school fees.

In a press note here on Monday, TRSMA State secretary Y. Sekhar Rao said that the private educational institutions were informing the parents about their fee structure before admitting their child into the school and also giving the facilities to pay the fees in equal instalments.

He also said that they were sending SMS messages and notices to the parents about the payment of fees and not harassing the students demanding the school fee.

Stating that some corporate educational institutions were running the schools as business establishments, he stated that the private educational institutions in the district were running the schools to eke out their living and providing employment to other unemployed sections.

‘Schools need money’

'He said that the private schools would also function with finances as they have to pay salaries to the teaching and non-teaching staff and maintenance of school such as power bills, rents, etc.
