Plea to release fee reimbursement amount

Students under the banner of the Telangana Vidyarthi Parishath (TGVP) took out a huge rally here on Thursday and submitted a memorandum to the authorities appealing to the government to release the remaining fee reimbursement amount immediately in view of the problems faced by the student community.

On this occasion, the TGVP district president Lal Singh said that an amount of Rs.100 crore – Rs. 40 crore for 2014-15 and Rs. 60 crore for 2015-16 – was yet to be released towards fee reimbursement. About 80,000 students in different courses, from Intermediate to MBA and MBBS, applied for the benefit, he said.
