Kalyana Lakshmi to be extended to Christians

Deputy Speaker M. Padma Devender Reddy said that the government would extend Kalyana Lakshmi scheme for poor people of Christian community.

Addressing a gathering after participating in distribution of clothes at Medak Church on Friday, she said that so far Bonalu, Bathukamma and Ramzaan were celebrated as State festivals and the same would be followed in future as well. She promised to supply drinking water for every house hold in the next two years.

RDO M. Nagesh, ZP vice-chairman Mallikarjun Goud and others participated in the programme.
