Focus on your career: expert

The Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration and Satavahana University in-charge Vice-Chancellor, B. Janardhan Reddy, called upon students to focus on their career.

In an interactive session at the University on Thursday, he said that students should study with dedication and that there were no short-cuts to excel. Expressing concern over absenteeism among students, he said that students should attend classes regularly.

Recalling examples of engineering students and others opting for smaller jobs due to poor quality of education, he said that students should develop their skills to become employable.

Registrar M. Komal Reddy, Mayor S. Ravinder Singh, municipal Commissioner K.V. Ramana Chary and others were also present.
