A five-year-old girl of Mangya Tanda in Tirumalayapalem mandal died of snakebite at her grandparent’s house in a tribal hamlet under Chivemla mandal of neighbouring Nalgonda district in the wee hours of Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Aishwarya, 5, the daughter of a farm labourer couple of Mangya Tanda. Sources said that Aishwarya was bitten by a venomous snake while she was asleep along with her mother at her grandparent’s house in the small hours of the day.
