Collector takes cognisance of absent officials

Collector Neetu Prasad has instructed the district officials to attend the weekly public grievances redressal programmes, ‘Dial Your Collector’ and ‘Prajavani’, without fail every Monday.

Expressing concern over absenteeism of several district officials during the Dial Your Collector programme on Monday, the Collector directed the officials to attend the programmes on time without fail.

She said the officials should take prior permission if they were unable to attend both the programmes.

With regards to the Grama Sandarshana (village visit) programme on Tuesday, she directed the officials to close all the open and defunct wells in the villages.

She also informed them to demolish the old and dilapidated houses in the villages by taking permission from the owners, and keep the villages clean .

Joint Collector Pausumi Basu, DRO T. Veerabrahmaiah and others were also present.
