June 24, 2016 12:00 am | Updated October 18, 2016 01:04 pm IST - NIZAMABAD:

Indur Classic Cinema Club (ICCC) president A. Surya Prakash and general secretary Meka Ramaswami expressed their sympathies to the bereaved family of veteran film actor and stage artiste J.V. Ramana Moorthy who passed away in Hyderabad on Wednesday night.

In a statement issued here on Thursday, they said that the demise of Mr. Moorthy was a great loss to both cinema and drama. He rendered yeoman service to both the fields.

They said the staging of ‘Kansasulkam’ drama by Mr. Moorthy and his team at Sirnapally fort at Jendagally here some five decades ago was still alive in the memory of the residents.
