Cabinet failed to discuss core issues, says YSR Congress

August 22, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 10:34 am IST - HYDERABAD:

The YSR Congress has charged the TDP with failing to discuss core issues like SCS during the Cabinet meeting.

YSR Congress senior leader Ummareddy Venkateswarlu said there were high expectations that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu would make announcements regarding the SCS, inadequate central assistance, and farmers’ issues.

But Mr. Naidu left the people thoroughly disappointed as none of these found a mention.

The meeting did not discuss about anything except for sanctioning a temple, a joint venture, and sops to Olympics medal-winner P.V. Sindhu.

The State appeared to have given up the SCS issue going by the failure of the Chief Minister to raise the issue with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He was instead interested in sanctioning lands to interested parties.
