Pramana-2K17, the annual Techno-Management Cultural Fest organised by GITAM University turned out to be a mega affair with more than 10,000 students from various colleges turning up to showcase their talent.
Padmanabham Gade, Director, International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy & New Materials (ARCI), along with GITAM University, Hyderabad Pro Vice-Chancellor N. Siva Prasad, School of Technology principal Ch. Sanjay and others inaugurated the festival.
It was followed by flagging off of various events starting with choreography competition, BizScitech quiz, movie quiz, JAMs, philosophers’ quest, tech talks, ‘funthakshari’, classical dance, symphony (instrumental), group dance, Kalakriti band, carnival, multi-lingual musical etc.
The three-day fest had different competitions with the campus buzzing students. Prizes were distributed to winners in various events while students presented colourful cultural programmes.
