January 03, 2017 12:37 am | Updated 08:07 am IST - PEDDAPALLI:

Expressing concern over minors driving vehicles and causing accidents, Ramagundam Commissioner of Police Vikram Jeet Duggal instructed the school and college managements to take action against students coming to the institute on vehicles without a valid driving licence.

Stating that minors should not drive, he warned the educational institutes of serious action if they fail to check such students. The police would counsel parents of minors caught driving without a licence.

In a press note here on Monday, the Commissioner said that they would also take action against the parents if their wards were caught for the offence.
