YRC, RRC and NSS inaugurated in Vaniyambadi college

The Youth Red Cross (YRC), Red Ribbon Club (RRC) and National Service Scheme (NSS) unit were inaugurated at the Marudhar Kesari Jain College for Women in Vaniyambadi on Wednesday by C. Dhandapani, HOD, Economics and Zonal Coordinator of YRC, Thiruvalluvar University.

Dr. Reeta Vijaya Selvi, Associate Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (OG), Christian Medical College, Vellore spoke on the theme, `Breast Cancer & Screening’, and Dr. Latha Lakshmi, Associate Professor of OG, CMC spoke on `Cervical Cancer & Screening’.

K. Prakash, Transplant Coordinator of the Multi Organ Harvesting Network (MOHAN) Foundation who inaugurated the NSS unit of the college spoke of the need for organ donation. D. Karunakaran, Director and G. Dhanasekaran, Principal of the college participated. D. Ramya, secretary of YRC and RRC and M. Mythili, secretary of the NSS unit of the college proposed vote of thanks.
