Seetha (38) of Thandalam village in Arakkonam Taluk Police Station limits was stabbed to death allegedly by her husband Sekar (45), an agricultural labourer in their house in the early hours of Wednesday.
According to police sources, the couple had a wordy duel on Tuesday night.
Illicit intimacy
They argued over the illicit intimacy which Seetha allegedly had with another person for some years.
When Seetha was asleep, Sekar allegedly stabbed her to death in the early hours of Wednesday. Sekar who absconded after the incident was later arrested by the police.
