Villupuram Chief Judicial Magistrate Suba Anbumani on Monday granted custody of Vasuki Subramanian, administrator of SVS College of Naturopathy and Yoga Science to the CB-CID till February 6.

The CB-CID had filed a petition before the magistrate seeking custody of nine days to interrogate her in connection with the death of three students of the college on January 23.

However, the court granted only six days custody to the CB-CID.

Vasuki was brought from the Cuddalore Central Prison and handed over to the CB-CID. The government had on Friday transferred the investigation to the CB-CID.

On January 23, three students V. Priyanka, T. Monisha and E. Saranya reportedly committed suicide by jumping into a well.
