If people failed to vote for the PWF-DMDK-TMC combine, even god cannot safeguard the State from corruption, Tamil Maanila Congress leader G.K. Vasan said here on Thursday.
Addressing election campaign meetings in Kanyakumari district in support of the alliance candidates, Mr. Vasan said that the current Assembly election was very important for the alliance, as it had determined to end the rule of the two major Dravidian parties for the past five decades.
People were suffering due to lack of basic amenities such as drinking water, underground drainage and proper roads.
In Kollencode in Killiyoor constituency, Mr. Vasan campaigned for former MLA D. Kumaradoss who is contesting on a TMC ticket.
